Jean François Glabik feels like he has always been a sculptor, like he has always done that from dawn to dusk. «History has it that man became intelligent during the Iron Age», says the artist. «I decided to start sculpting as soon as I tamed that metal. I started to conjugate the verbs ‘to deform’, ‘to twist’, ‘to distort’, ‘to spiral’, ‘to coil’, ‘to wind’, ‘to intertwine’… and the mystery of creation did the rest, forever solidifying these filiform creatures. I wander through the oneiric labyrinth of human nature, tampering with shapes and kneading the void.»
