Bibek Santra paints grapes of people, marching, swirming crowds. These groups describe the condition of the migratory ebb and flow that has always captivated and puzzled him. His paintings, often on very large formats, show the anguish of being alone and isolated inside a mass of people, as well as the love stories and the relational tragedies that may occur. His strokes and colours make for a harmonic visual experience, as if to tone down the suffering that remains his primary focus.
