Margaux Salmi is an eclectic artist – a musician, a writer, a model and a draughtswoman. She invented a world of almost human characters, sometimes androgynous, always a tad unsettling. She reconstructs her surroundings as if to slay inexpressible fears, showing groups of intertwined individuals that don’t seem to be united by anything if not loneliness and melancholia. And then, between two colours, an eye full of sparkles or a smile shine a fleeting light on a hope of
reconciliation between the dream and the mundane.
